About

The people behind the box.

We're two women with a shared conviction:

God's Word changes everything.

Different backgrounds. Different gifts. More than fifty years between us teaching, mentoring, leading and walking alongside others through seasons of faith, growth and becoming.

Through all of it, we've learned the same thing: being seen matters. And so does having someone willing to speak truth into who you're becoming.

Alyssa Preston, PhD, Founder

Hi — I'm Alyssa.

For more than twenty years I've taught, mentored, and led in classrooms, churches, businesses, and ministries. I hold a doctorate in the Rhetoric and Philosophy of Communication, and I've spent my life returning to this question: how do we help people think clearly, speak truthfully, and become who God made them to be?

That work has always come down to communication — helping people and organizations be clear about who they are, in word and in action. But my most significant work has been personal: coming alongside people as they discover who God made them to be, and calling them into it.

That's a big reason unsolicited. exists.

Because words carry weight — especially The Word.

And it speaks in real time to real issues, big and small.

Kathi Moore, ThM, COO

Hi — I'm Kathi.

I believe the Word of God belongs in every room, and I've made a life of finding ways to bring it there.

For fifteen years I taught students. For fifteen more I served in the local church, learning to love not just people but the things that make serving them possible — teams, systems, details, the work no one sees. Then, in 2016, God called me farther from home, and now I travel internationally to equip and encourage ministry leaders and to serve women rescued from human trafficking.

I've been in different rooms and different roles.

Teacher, leader, missionary. Wife of more than forty years, mom to two daughters, grandmother to two grandsons who bring me more joy than I can fit in a bio.

No matter what the assignment, one truth is consistent:

They may forget the lesson.
They don't forget being seen and known.

When the right word arrives at the right moment, hearts change.

And changed hearts, change families, communities, and nations.
